Church Without Walls
Stoke on Trent
Links
On this page, there is a range of links to local churches and Christian organisations.  There are many others we could have listed - especially when it comes to churches.  These are the ones we know most about.  There are also links to some of the projects, businesses and charities that we are involved with, support or just think are doing a cracking job.  It’s a real mixture of stuff.
Local Churches

St Andrews, Sneyd Green

A lively, well regarded evangelical church within the Anglican tradition.  Best known in the city for its emphasis on healing.  St Andrews partners with others in the city to provide healing on the streets in the city centre every Thursday lunchtime.

beacon house of prayer

A fellowship and a prayer house, aiming towards being a 24 hour presence of prayer in the city.  Based in Burslem.  A fantastic place to go to pray.  They even have groups of school children coming to experience the prayer rooms.

CGC Stoke

A medium to small church on the Meir Park estate making a real difference to the community.  It has a lively, friendly feel and a practical, down to earth approach to mission.

It is part of a small family of churches, called Christian Growth International, which is refreshingly relational as well as having a big vision and buckets of energy.
Bethel City Church is fast growing and exuberant.  It describes itself as:  “progressive; expansive; explosive; provocative; audacious; cheeky; pioneering; and even dangerous; a church that is passionate about Jesus and the awesome city of Stoke on Trent.”

It also has a family congregation, called BURBS that meets on a Sunday afternoon in Trentham.  It’s a fast paced, loud, bouncy 45 minute service.  A church geared towards children, where the adults are allowed to come along, rather than the other way round.
